This blog was created to keep up with a story... 5 friends who took a year off from university to travel around the world. "Strange? Crazy? Not gonna work?" Might be, but we're gonna try...
Here's the plan:

     - 7 months in the USA to raise the money
     - 1 month in the Caribean and Central America
     - 3 months in Europe
     - 1 month in Africa
     - 3 months in Asia
     - 1 month in Oceania

Whenever things happen, we're gonna be posting here...

City #8: Copenhagen

After some two weeks in Morocco, it was time to go back to Europe... some friends from school (who are either working or studying in europe for 2007) had set up a gathering in Copenhagen for the weekend... so there I went!

Playboy and I had a little trouble with the train getting there - just to vary a bit... since we never have problems with transportation (NOT! hehehe), but we still managed to make it there just after luch time of friday...

Arriving there we met our friends from ITA - Terrinha, Sama, Amads, Mauricio and Zaca ... it was a lot of fun seeing everyone again after so long - and realize that Zaca hasn't still learned how to talk!!! (my bad Zaca, hehehe)

We didn't do much tourism organized tourism there, simply because we went there to check out the nightclubs, and also because the weather was crappy that weekend. But we still got to see around the city, the mermaid statue (and like everyone else after seeing it we kept asking ourselves why the hell it is famous) and Christiania, which was awesome... For those who don't know, Christiania is the hippie community in the middle of Copenhagen which considers itself an independent country - with it's own laws and everything... A funny thing is that until just a little ago not even the police would go in there...
